Hi Everyone,
I am on day 18 of the Master-Cleanse and plan to do the full 40. I know I also want to do the B&P and liver. I am aware that a parasite cleanse is important prior to these other cleanses. What is the recommendation as to these other cleanses and the MC? Do I need to wait or can I do these while on my 40 day MC? I have reasons to want to do these all ASAP but of course health comes first. I thought I read that there are dehydration issues..can I drink more water to avoid this?

I wanted to ad that I have read the FAQ's and found this one to help me a lot-

But I am still wondering if you could suggest when and in what order I should do these three other cleanses after or during my 40 day MC. (parasite, liver and BP)
Also, does anyone know what the "strings" are and where they come from?

Ideally one is supposed to do the PC before the LF but I can tell you that the vast majority of people round here including myself have done the LF before the PC with great results. You should wait till you are eating normal and have added some fats to the diet and are having regular eliminations to do a LF after the MC. On a 40 dayer you should take it real easy and extend your break for 7 to 10 days after a long 40 day MC.
The BPs take a lot of dedication and dicipline to schedule them and drink all the necessary water etc. They also need to be done over a pretty long period of time. If you decide to do the BP's read also in the FAQs PTree's famous post to learn how to do them correctly "after" the MC.
I don't have the dicipline nor do I like the constant bloated feeling the BPs gave me. Many folks have found some of the oxygen based colon cleansing therapies like Oxypowder to be muuch more efficient and they don't require the extensive scheduling and dicipline and you only hafta do it for around a week.

I can not tell you how much I appreciate you taking the time. I am new to cleansing and feel like I have really discovered the missing link in my health. (I juice, eat mostly vegan and exercise) I do dread the long B&P...dose the Oxypowder get rid of the mucoid plaque? (aka "strings" I assume)- Re: Additional Cleanses? MC day 18, ... pepe

Oxy P is mostly magnesium and when that mixes with the digestive juices in your intestinal tract it releases oxygen which will break down the gunk stuck to the walls of your intestinal tract/colon and you pass it as this dark stanky liquid poo and not ropes.
Try not to think of the cleanse as the "missing link" but justas the catalyst and clean up. The cleanses will take the accumulated crap out so you system will operate more efficiently and "heal itself" The cleanses are just tools so do them diligently but they are not the goal. The real key will always be balanced nutrition and regular exercise so focus and make nutrition your main goal as that is where the actual healing and rebuilding happens after you've done the cleanses.

This is a reply to # 1,123,324Not wanting to be a pain, just want to be sure i get this right. I understand if you do not know this answer. Is the stuff you pass with the Oxyclean the same stuff that you pass with the BP? I think the ropes are mucoid plaque so is this the same just as more of a liquid?
