Bleeding Gums

Hi, I'm on day 9 of my first ever cleanse MC, and my gums are really bleeding a lot when I brush which is not typical of my dental health. Is this normal? Has anyone else experienced this? What would cause this? All help is greatly appreciated, thanks!- Re: Bleeding Gums quantumjourney

Do you floss every day?
Your gums should not bleed from brushing alone and just from cleansing. If you have gingivitus (sp?) it was there long before your started teh cleanse. I would go to your dentist ASAP and have them check you out.

MoreThis is a reply to # 1,148,739I'm not a faithful flosser, but occasional. I visit the dentist every 6 months and again, have not had this happen before so that was my concern. I'm glad to say that the bleeding only lasted 3 days and is now gone (on day 11), so I feel better.
