This would be like nasal irrigation, or like post nasal drip. You just swallow some and spit out some. How much of either is your choice. Just try not to overdo swallowing at first. UT is strong medicine!

This is a reply to # 1,180,811If you want to drink urine, just do it the normal way from the mouth.
To clean the Ear-Nose-Throat (ENT), perform jala neti stage 1 or nasal irrigation. Doing it with urine will expel a lot of mucus from the ENT area. Add some Lugols Iodine or mint essential oil (food/therapeutic grade) to disinfect the ENT area.

Recommended to learn the 1st stage Jala Neti (nasal irrigation, nostril to nostril) before proceeding to other forms.
Other forms of neti is on page 13. This deals with drinking the liquid from the nose and exiting through the mouth, and vice versa.
If you search for my older posts, you can find links and tips on buying a good neti pot from the net. The syringe simply does not have the volume/pressure of liquid to reach the inner parts of ENT. Nasal irrigation machines are well designed to accomplish the same benefits, with pulsing and mist action.
Another way to do it with syringe is to lie on the bed, allow the head to tilt downwards on the edge of bed and fill each nostril with urine. This seems to have a soaking action but does not act in the same way as jala neti.- Re: Nasal Irrigation = Jala Neti Sta... josephr525

I got a Neti a while back and tried it but I didn't get rid of much mucus for some reason. My sister did (but not with UT) and got a lot of benefit from her allergies.
I drank some pee through the nose. I hold one nostril closed and just tip my head back a little, and it runs into my nose. I guess there are many ways to do UT.
UT is a fine therapy. It's done a lot for my chronic anxiety.

MoreThis is a reply to # 1,181,399My neti pot can fill up to 500ml in volume. Most of the time, mucus comes only towards the end of the session (around 10 mins or so). They also drip for a while after the session.

where would one find one ? I live in Australia, could you recommend somewhere I could find one of these

UT is powerful therapy. I thought I was too toxic a few days ago so I took 2 grams of sodium ascorbate Vitamin C in water twice in the morning (and UT), and got wicked loose bowels from it. So, that proved to me that I must have spilled a lot of Vit C into my pee and UT recycled it fast. Without UT I bet I would have had to take 8-10 grams of C to get the same reaction.
I might be better off to not take any oral Vit C at all now that I do UT, as I eat many organic foods that contain natural Vit C, and too much Vit C is not a good thing, IMHO.
The day I got loose bowels I bought a big fresh pineapple. The next morning I ate a lot of fresh pineapple (and did UT as I have been) and got loose stools again, but this time from recycled enzymes. Too much enzymes isn't a good thing (for me) either. I had to stop taking Bromelain a couple of months ago for the same reason - it started to give me loose bowels.
I'm learning about UT. I tend to feel a lot more serene lately. I feel like I can think and feel again the way I used to. It seems like it's been a long time. It's good to feel this way again. I didn't know if I'd ever feel serene again. Now I want to avoid things that will remind me of the way I've been for the last 7 years.
I've opened the windows to let in the allergens and humidity. I don't want to spend the summer couped up in an air conditioned, dehumdified house. Things are blooming in my back yard and it smells up the whole neighborhood, and with the windows open my house smells that way. It's kind of nice. I don't feel allergic (or as allergic) any more so I kind of think I'll keep the windows open more from now on. Maybe I'll run ceiling fans more this year and the AC a lot less.
