MoreHello, I am on my fourth day of a Water Fast and it is strange but I cannot sleep t night and I am having heartburn. I have fasted many times in the past and never experienced this? Does anyone know if there is something I can do. The lack of sleep is really bothersome and the hb causes pain. Thanks very much.

MoreThis is a reply to # 1,306,716I had acid reflux when I fasted and drinking lots of water helped. Try drinking lots of water and see if that helps.
I know your suppose to drink according to thirst but I fasted a week and everything was fine. - Re: Need some advice... archus

I had some heartburn and lack of sleep as well. I drank distilled water, which helped a lot. Also before bedtime I drank water regularly, about 8oz.
