You know you just sparked an old memory, I had a freind in high school that was a marine microbiologist, and she had me put regular salt, without Iodine
(iodine will kill fish) in all my tanks...like a 1/4 of cup in 75 gallons.
She said if I did this, "the fish should never get sick"
Now this just bley my mind, I was sure these fresh water fish would die from this amount of salt, but they didnt and still today I do this and they never get do get sick.
I use lots of salt, in everything now. I think it is way more important to our systems than we really know.
My only mystery is this....some people when they eat salt, it seems to make them swell all up......why would this be. Any ideas anyone?
I can eat all the salt I want and I do not swell up.
