Hi Everyone
I did a coffee enema a few weeks back and used 2 liters (did 1 liter at a time). Went fine.
This time I did the same procedure but (tmi) it was squirting out I just could hardly hold it but i did for 10 minutes. Then I repeated and I couldnt hold that one at all just got up after 1 minute. What the heck happened this time. I want to keep doing the coffee enema's to assist my liver but what should I do. Now I dont know if I will do it again.
Only difference is this time I layed on my back with my legs up b/c I did not feel it gurgling so they say in the gallbladder. Still didnt.

That happens to me sometimes. It's kind of a bummer after going through the whole process!
I usually use a little less than a quart...and to compensate I try to hold it between 15 and 20 mins. Also I make my coffee fairly strong (between 3 and 4 tablespoons.)- Re: 2nd Coffee Enema I couldnt Hold ... #49757

I believe that all who take enemas have had the same type of experience, no only with coffee enemas but with most enemas.
How well you can retain an enema depends on many factors. To name a few: how cleans your colon is at the time, the temperature of the solution, how relaxed you are, the strength of the solution, etc.
I find that taking a 2-cup coffee enema gives me the most consistent result. Also the coffee you use is very critical to the success and most certainly the preparation is vital to get the full effects of a coffee enema.
I always take at least 2 cleansing enemas prior to taking a coffee enema. I use SA Wilsons special blend of coffee, 3 tablespoons to make 1 quart of solution. I retain the enema for 20 minutes. The gurgling is not always apparent or may not even happen.
I have found that it takes me a minimum of 3 consecutive days of coffee enemas to get to “hear” or feel the gurgling. I feel this gurgling most often towards the end of my 5-day juice fast. By the way a 5-day fast with daily coffee enemas is very rough on your body especially on your adrenal glands.
You get the many benefits of the coffee enema even if you don’t hear the gurgling. Hope this gives you some help.

This is a reply to # 141,175and i have yet to try a coffee enema due to the fact thati am undereducataed in the benefits of anything by saline......
please give me some info on the benefits of a coffee enema or for that matter, ifyou have any other mixes you like, plesaelet me know with an explination for why you like htem so much...
