Hi,

Personnaly, I admit that when I was a child, I have sometimes bitten my lip but it was not a habit.
I have just made the mistake to bite once my top lip and the injury was quite deep (5 mm). Then the upper lip starts immediately to peel has a result of trying to recover of this relative severe wound.
> I totally dismissed this but every year they get a bit
> better now I am not biting them and I mean red raw!.
> Leave alone as much as possible and moisturise.
I don't understand "and I mean red raw!"
Sorry for my poor english.
After 12 years and an apparent progress in the healing process (in depth not in area), I was surprised that leaving them alone during 3 weeks still leads to a massive crust building on both lip... And after that, indeed, the skin is red raw. No progress at all after leaving them alone. Just pain
