Every body is different but I had a similiar reaction when I started taking raw coconut oil. I didn't get diarrhea, but had bad cramping and it actually made me feel EXHAUSTED within about 5-15 minutes of eating it. I would feel completely lethargic and have bad stomach pains. They would go away after about 40 minutes and so I just became convinced I was having die-off because it happened every time I ate it. I've since discovered other things that are some other version of antifungal that have made me feel the same way, so I'm pretty convinced that it's the coconut oils' antifungal action that caused me to feel that way. If the die-off is too intense, decrease the amount you're taking/the frequency you're taking or try something else instead. Generally speaking though, die-off is kind of a hard thing to avoid getting. If the die-off is REALLY intolerable, I would recommend trying to the product 'Candidate' by native remedies. (www.nativeremedies.com) I would by NO means suggest that this is a sufficient anti-candida program i.e., after you take it for the 6 weeks they suggest, try ANOTHER more serious anti-candida program. I just think that when the die-off is severe/too severe, or if you are needing IMMEDIATE relief, candidate is a product that can offer instant-relief. But I just want to emphasize again, that I don't think that candidate is powerful enough/strong enough/capable of really elminating a candida overgrowth problem. I think it just helps transition you more easily/with less die off, to a program that could really work for you..
Hope that helps?
