*I' m just starting having kefir, will see if I get bad reactions later, so far I don't feel sleepy. I'm not convinced yet about the kefir being bad for us because it's created by a fungus.
Kefir is not bad. It is actually quite beneficial, especially when it comes to fighting Candida.
And I would not worry about small amounts of lactose in the cheese either unless you are lactose intolerant. The flora will ferment the lactose in to beneficial lactic acid.
Who is saying that kefir is bad for people with candiadis, all yeasts are not bad.
I agree, but it is not the yeasts that people are worried about but rather the sugar. This is why we tell people to make sure to ferment kefir or any other cultured products long enough to destroy most if not all the sugar before consumption.
