I don't know if you saw it, but one of our members on the Yahoo group has a problem with an old radiation scar along with prolonged minor intestinal bleeding. She would like to get rid of or diminish the internal scar but doing so might be complicated by the intestinal bleeding.
I know that digestive enzymes taken in quantity three times a day on an empty stomach can in time help dissolve the fibrin that makes up scars, both internally and externally, but I am concerned that might not be the way to go, at least at the outset, due to the bleeding. In addition to cayenne pepper I was thinking of the Dr. Christopher Skin, Bone and Tissue capsules, but I agree with you that some of the /Dr Christopher products are not up to his old standards after his kids took over . . .
Anyway, I would appreciate any help/suggestions.
All the best,
'Just read the short thread...hmmm, it sure would be helpful to know exactly where in the alimentary canal the scarring is - and is she sure the internal bleeding is caused by/associated with the scarring (and/or, why is the internal scar causing bleeding?) I'm not saying she doesn't know what's going on in her own body; it's just that after radiation morphs & mutates our flesh & cells, various 'common assumptions' are sometimes incorrect.
Also, I've been learning that internal scars/adhesions may form differently than external scars (I have very little information so far), but I'm wondering how the 'fibrin issue' may differ internally (if it does at all)...and how the fibrin issue comes into play with tissue/cells that have been mutated by the radiation.
--Echinacea - repairs the damage to radiation mutated cells and rebalances levels & counts:
Echinacea symposium presents new research on Chernobyl victims (I've been tearing my hair out for years trying to find the documentation presented at this symposium!)
--Cayenne powder/tincture increases fibrinolytic activity and stops bleeding. I consider Cayenne the "#1 Go-To" for any type of bleeding.
--Both raw garlic and raw onion contain the fibrinolytic chemical cycloallin. Raw garlic is a major anti-cancer herb (which I'm sure you already know), so she's likely already on the raw garlic (if not, 3-9 cloves daily)
--Dr. Christopher was very convinced Black Walnut inner bark (leaves/hulls lesser) and the potassium chloride contained (and other co-factors) combine to create the best fibrin solvent in nature. Hence, where his children have bastardized his BF&C formula (to leave out Comfrey), they've also changed the Black Walnut to 'leaf' rather than the inner bark....and of course, they now use cheap/toxic non-organic/imported herbs in almost all their formulas. Our BF&C (tea, oil, tincture) is organic and "original" (and has the Comfrey and Black Walnut inner bark, not the leaves). Also, Dr. Christopher notes that the Marshmallow, Mullein & Comfrey all contain potassium chloride. More on adhesions & fibrin (from Dr. Christopher) below my sign off..
As far as "some" of his products not being 'up to his old standards'? (in case you're not aware). Only the ones with organic herbs (very few) are even close to his old standards. The formulas have been changed and the quality of the herbs is DISMAL (no better than buying generic 'wal-mart brand' herbs). This is very important as many countries still use DDT (a known carcinogen & neurotoxin) on their herbs; there are reports of people with neurological issues actually worsening after using these herbs :( I know you're aware that those of us advising others (especially those in serious condition that need mega-doses) shoulder the burden of making sure we're not recommending products that are not effective (and worse yet, can and do cause harm)...and I know you carry that burden as seriously as I do.
On the other side of the coin, there's the issue of funding Dr. Christopher's children and their "enterprise" by buying the few products that might be 'quality'. They have consistently kowtowed to the Powers That Be (particularly on the Comfrey issue). When challenged, they simply removed all Comfrey from Dr. Christopher's formulas (without notifying the consumer that the formula was not Dr. Christopher's). The worst thing? Those kids HAVE the money and wherewithal to fight & win...but they opted not to 'get into it'. The only reason Comfrey isn't totally 'banned' is because the smaller companies and individuals CHOSE TO FIGHT...even though they have not 1/10 (or 1/100th) of the resources of the Christopher children. The more one researches the more the pieces come together and it's clearly obvious to most that for the children, it's 100% about the money (and not the healing). Dr. Christopher ALWAYS stood for the TRUTH...and he stood firm every time the cold, steel handcuffs were slapped on his wrist and he was hauled off to jail like a common criminal. His children have spit on, trampled and raped their father's personal sacrifices & legacy.
--Castor Oil packs - I've read of a LOT of people with various internal adhesions and scarring after surgery that have dissolved & healed them with castor oil packs. Castor oil is one of the most underutilized & underestimated therapies in our arsenal (as is foot reflexology). I say that all the time on the forum and I always forget to use it myself! Palma Christi (the hand of Christ) - we should use it whenever/wherever our body needs smoothing healing. Google search: "castor oil" + adhesions: http://tinyurl.com/2volx29
'Hope this proves to be beneficial & healing information! (keep up the good work :)
From Dr. Christopher's writings: adhesions, fibrin, etc...
A condition of peristaltic malfunction in the bowels wherein the fecal matter becomes condensed and compressed and the evacuations are infrequent and difficult. This condition is produced by our modern way of life--the eating of highly refined and demineralized foods instead of a plain and coarse diet, the strain and stress of rapid living, hastily eaten meals, and lack of exercise. When toxic waste matter is left to stagnate in the lower bowel tract, the system becomes polluted with poisonous gases which congest and irritate the surrounding organs, causing adhesions, and other ailments. A person should have bowel movements as often as regular meals are eaten.
A mucoid condition is often a consequence of partial decomposition or disintegration of blood plasma due to a nutritional shortage of potassium chloride, the element that chloride, the element that enables the fibrin to remain in solution in the blood. Pertaining to the origin and nature of catarrh, Dr. Shook explains further: In all inflammatory processes, there is an exudation or sweating out of fibrin from the blood into the surrounding tissue. This exuded fibrin becomes non-functional and insoluble. No new fibrin can be formed without the aid of potassium chloride. When the exudation of fibrin is from the mucous membrane, it is called catarrh. Advanced stages of fibrinous exudation in different organs and tissues is variously named cystitis, cysts, adhesions, etc. When the exudation of fibrin is excessive, the chemical balance of the blood is upset, and nature calls for potassium and chlorine. If potassium chloride is not available, the body will take these two elements from any other compound containing them, such as potassium phosphate (thus robbing the nerves) or calcium chloride (which robs the heart muscle) and so on and on until a whole series of unbalanced conditions are created which are given fancy names and made profoundly mysterious, because we consume so much sodium chloride and so little potassium chloride. Nature provides an abundance of potash and chlorine in food and herbs. Dr. Shook includes the following: bladder wrack, Irish moss, greater celand, elecampane, gravel root, wild yam, couchgrass, stinging nettle, pleurisy root, gum plant, wild cherry bark, apple (fruit, bark, apple cider vinegar), etc.
As a matter of fact, the antilithic, lithotriptic, and anticatarrhal herbs contain this most important element (potassium chloride) which enables the fibrin to become soluble again, restoring the balance to the blood, and thereby eliminating further exudations.
2. Question: What could be done for hard cartilage-like materials deposited under the skin?
Answer: Deposits of this type are generally derived from a fibrin material. Fibrin is made by combining collagen (and albuminoid, the main organic constituent of connecting tissue and of the organic substance of the bone). Changeable by boiling into glue or gelatin (with potassium chloride [KC 1] ). This is a salt very similar to sodium chloride (NaC1), but very different in its chemical effects upon the various cells and tissues of the body. It is found in the blood and lymph. By its action on collagen (which as explained is a particular gelatinoid), it forms fibrin. This fibrin is the builder of muscular and ligamentous structures, but unless there is sufficient potassium chloride in the blood to keep it in solution, the fibrin is thrown out as a stringy, insoluble mess which forms an excess of phlegm and catarrhal mucoid matter. All forms of catarrh are caused in this way, as are fibroid tumors and adhesions. Fibrin is a viscid, sticky substance which coagulates the blood when it is exposed to air or oxygen.
As you can see, the body needs plenty of potassium chloride to keep the fibrin in solution and build muscles and tissue where needed instead of coagulating and forming fibrin cysts or tumors under the skin, in various organs, or in other words where we don't want them.
To work locally on the swollen area, there is the fomentation of comfrey combination (a number of herbs combined) which we also call "bone, flesh and cartilage combination" because of the way it acts. Here is the formula:
6 parts Oak Bark
3 parts Marshmallow Root
3 parts Mullein Herb
2 parts Wormwood
1 part Lobelia
1 part Scullcap
6 parts Comfrey Root
3 parts Black Walnut Bark (or leaves)
3 parts Gravel Root
Potassium Chloride is plentiful in Comfrey, Marshmallow, Mullein and Black Walnut. All of these are well supplied with this much needed Potassium Chloride to fight fibrin malfunction. This formula also has a fine solvent Gravel Root in it for breaking up inorganic calcium accumulation in the unnatural swollen area. Use as a fomentation over swollen area all night each night six days a week and drink one cup a.m. and p.m. each day.
Another great aid to increase the various Potassium Salts for healing in the body is a formula called Potassium broth. It is made up by low heating a vegetable combination of thick potato peelings, celery stalks and leaves, beet and carrot tops, garlic and onion, black pepper corns and any other greens, such as Comfrey, Marshmallow Plants, Chickweed, etc. The onion and garlic not only add flavor but also power to kill infection and the black pepper corns are a stimulant and also to add flavor to the Potassium formula.
Drink two or more cups of this potassium broth each day.
More about BF&C and it's actions:
For severe and painful joints or areas, the use of the Comfrey combination tea is good (the same as was recommended for problems in questions 2 and 3 of this issue). The reaction on arthritis is this: the Oak Bark is an astringent and tones up the area, and it is also high in Potassium Chloride to keep the fibrin in motion and not allow further deposit accumulations. The Mullein and Lobelia work on the glands and lymph system to keep the area clear and ready to carry off unwanted debris; Wormwood relieves pain; the Scullcap keeps the spinal cord alert and working smoothly to assist in body motion; Comfrey Root is a cell proliferant, causing the good cells to grow rapidly and push off the dead cells and unwanted accumulations; Walnut Bark is high in iodide and is one of the few plants specific in clearing fungus and is extremely high in Potassium Chloride for the blood and lymph, Potassium Sulfate for skin and mucous membrane, and Potassium Phosphate for the brain and nerve food. The Gravel Root is a solvent to leach off the inorganic calcification (from tap water and processed foods, etc.) and make place for the organic calcium derived from the Comfrey, Oak Bark, and some of the other herbs used in this combination.
Dr. Christopher taught that Sarsaparilla is a wonderful tonic blood purifier. It has been used as a spring tonic to eliminate poisons from the blood and purify the system from all leftover infections of winter (Hut:241). The Doctrine of Signatures says that the long creeping roots suggest the blood system (Har:Complete:161). It is said to be an excellent antidote to take after ingesting a deadly poison (Klo:310). Tierra says that it is good for all ailments requiring a blood purifier, including gout, rheumatism, colds, fevers and catarrhal problems (Tie:113). Dr. Shook explained that the root contains sulfur and four metallic salts: iron in the form of iron oxide, calcium in the form of calcium oxalate, potassium as potassium chloride and magnesium as magnesium sulfate and magnesium chloride, which is the element which provides the bitter taste of the herb. Iron works as an oxidizer in the system and vitalizer of the blood, the calcium oxalate carries four atoms of oxygen and the calcium absorbs carbon dioxide, and the potassium chloride is a fibrin solvent. The organic magnesium sulfate is an excellent laxative (ShoA:217). Shook asked, is there any wonder that this is such a successful blood purifier?
Thanks very much for your detailed message and time. I have posted your message to the group.
