Since last December, so almost a year, I have been taking Minocycline (100mg) twice a day, and Plaquenil (200mg) twice a day. It takes a few months for you to really see results, but it's definitely worth it. Last year I was so depressed because of this condition and felt people stare at me in public. Now no one thinks I have a lip problem. Only my friends that stuck by me last year know what I've been through. They are not healed, though. They still turn a little white when they get wet, but they are less inflamed, not blistery, and whenever they peel (which is not often) the sheets of skin seem to be getting thinner and thinner. I still use straws for drinks whenever possible, and am careful when I wash my face and brush my teeth.
