Dont know where Nord got that. His relaying of the info was not very informative and may have been more of a personel experience he had rather than any research he found. Ive only read the opposite in my study of oils/fats. Which is that heating coconut oil doesnt change the fat chains so unlike most other oils it is considered to still be healthy if heated. Perhaps he was confused about it when it is hydrogentated whereby it is transformed into an unhealthy product.
