My husband has done this one with good results, but he had a lot of apple juice the week prior to trying it. He followed the recipe that someone had tried on this board. It was the fasting after 2 p.m. and then 8 to 10oz of magnesium citrate at 8 p.m. At bedtime he took the mix you listed--lemon juice, coke and olive oil. Upon rising he had another 10oz of magnesium citrate. I did it the first time with him and was sick in the wee hours of the morning, but did not throw up.
He has developed an aversion to the magnesium citrate and will try it again, using Epsom Salts
next time. He had extremely good results with this method. I think you need the Epsom Salts
or magnesium citrate to help things along. One other method I saw listed only called for the magnesium citrate upon rising and none the night before. You may want to check it out a little more before trying it.
