You have more than the day the "new moon" starts, AFAIK -- I don't believe in this new moon stuff though.

Cultures have different meanings, some cultures, the actual moonlight on a FULL moon has more healing, but the same moon turns everyone crazy mad loons in other places, apparently :)

I think we give more meaning to things than is there sometimes, but maybe others will disagree. I just signal the new moon with a chance to start as I mean to go on, the new moon is like a shorter new MONTHS resolution, one you can actually keep I suppose.

Well, I'm a gal, and I flush whether I'm menstruating or not (I'd never heard you weren't supposed to...and I doubt if I would paid much attention/believed it anyway, as I view menstruation as 'normal', as not in a specific "condition" or a reason not to detox/flush my body). I suppose if someone has female organ issues/complications, there might be a reason not to flush.

I do try to flush with the moon cycles, as I am a strong believer that everything in the universe affects everything else. My grandfather was a farmer all his life, and he always planted his crops and tended his livestock according to The Farmer's Alamanac...and he always had the best yields and herds of anybody in the county! :)

Anyway, I say "Flush ON!"
