The first two days were actually well. I had some hunger on day 1 but nothing intense. I prepared by giving up coffee and tea about a month ago. I went to a low carb diet with lean chicken and veggies to kind of get into ketosis.
I started Day 3 last night at 2100, and I am having a moment of hunger this afternoon. I think it is more psychological versus physical. I was hoping to get into full ketosis so I don't feel hunger at all.
I say it is psychological because I made my kids stir-fry and didn't feel a need to eat it.
I am excited to start day 4. I have been fasting several times throughout the year, but this time will be my long one. I really want to deep clean my body. I want to know if my cellulite will diminish by detoxing.
I am toxic. My tongue is coated white and the taste in my mouth is awful.
I am brushing without paste a couple times/day. If I have a meeting I am just going to throw in gum. I know that sets me back some, but I don't want to tell my colleagues.
To me this fast is my time to connect to God, detox, and start clean in 2012.
