Also consider taking some anti-parasitic herbs such olive leaf which has many other healing benefits as well.

oh, let's start w the obvious.

have you checked for parasites and tapeworms? i know this is a tcm forum, however, a stool test might be good to take and clear that up.

what about working the stomach meridian? find it, and scratch the length of it with your nails or a spoon or something.

i am in asia, and there is an herb here, la sah Bee. maybe find it, or another stomach herb that does not increase heat.

I know this is an old thread, but I just got diagnosed with the same thing, only no matter how much I eat, I don't seem to gain much weight. I wouldn't say I'm always hungry, but I never feel full. I feel like I could eat forever and still want more.

My TCM practitioner suggested that I get checked for parasites as well. She thinks its probably unlikely, but she would like to rule it out for certain.

As for treatment, I'm just starting tomorrow and she mixed herbs for me. I take them twice a day for 10 days, then return.

What treatment did your wife undertake in the end?
