Hey all. Just wondered if someone on here has ever tried the Phos Choline liver flush? There's not much about it online, but I read about it in a
Chronic-Fatigue-Syndrome cure book by Ian Solley. Its a low carb program with lots of detox methods. One of those is a 'PhosCholine liver flush'. I think its part of the Patricia Kane Detoxx program.
Anyway it consists of taking butyrate capsules and a special oil (bodybio balance oil 2tbs) for 2 weeks before the flush. Then for the actual flush, taking 20 capsules of Phosphatidylcholine and a few ox bile caps before bed. In the morning take 20 tablets of Chlorella (not sure on dose but I think 300mg per tab, hence 6grams. Probably to absorb overnight toxins released), and 10 Mastic Gum caps This is repeated a 2nd night in a row. It doesnt go into any more detail than that.
But seeing as even one or two 1g capsule of phoscholine gives me mild biliary colic, i'd say this flush would definitely do something. PhosChol certainly 'moves things' in the liver.
I've gotten HEAPS of conflicting info from people on whether or not I should do the full (Moritz/Clark) flush because im so very weak and incredibly sick with my CFS/FM/MCS and liver pain etc. Some say they don't know of any other way to improve the body once the liver is jammed up like mine is, others say the flush is too harsh.
However if its too harsh but there's no other way (And i have tried almost EVERY other way for years!) then I have no idea what else to do, weak or not.
Wondering how effective this phos chol flush would be? And possibly less harsh on a very weak body. Though at 20 caps I'm sure i'd still be in for pain.
