my lips are like everyone elses, though ive never really let the buildup become huge. also, the difference between mine and daniels lips (for example) is that the line of where ex stop is lower in his lips than on mine. only about half my lips are effected as opposed to 2/3. as of now im experimenting with epiceram and hydrogen peroxide soaks, and i am removing most of the buildup.
another thing. so when i went on monday i thought it would just be a consultation, but it was the actual patch testing appointment, so i didnt bring the various products i use on my lips until wednesday (the half way appointment) and they put them on then. I noticed later that day an allergen (octyl gallate) had began to react, on friday the doctor saw it and told me i was allergic. later that night 1 of the 4 products i gave him also reacted! just as much, if not more! but since it took as long to react as the other one, the doctor did not see it react.
the 4 products i gave him were 2 toothpastes i used (sensidine and all natural) and 2 spf30 lip balms that i am going to use in extreme sun. the problem is i dont know which it was, im leaving the country tomorrow morning for a year and will not even be in the same time zone, I will try and call the hospital to see if they can tell me which it was (i know it was the second from the top of that row).
im really really hoping it was the toothpaste that i use every day, this could be the cause of my my ec or at least the inflamataion.
does anyone know if they will be able to tell me which one it was from my description??>
