Diflucan and Sporanox I believe are nearly identical, except Diflucan is an American pharmaceutical so a lot more expensive. I'm not sure what kind of allergic reaction you were having with Diflucan, but you're probably aware that it is important not to drink any kind of alcohol while taking these drugs.
As for the Toxocara larval worm, perhaps the dosage of Diflucan was too low for it to be killed off completely or else, not enough was taken, hence the irritation?
Personally I wouldn't have thought that Diflucan would have an antiparasitic effect, but it would make sense, since parasites
feed off sugar, and yeast tends to arise in the body via candida when Sugar
levels are high.
There seems to be a lot of commentary about how Candida and parasites
actually go together, hence why the drug may be effective. I was actually quite shocked by the numerous amounts of Tapeworms
I eliminated on fluconazole alone, and not the albendazole.
