The reactions of taste buds are based upon your individual mineral and nutritional status across your entire body- for example, a person just off of chemotherapy for lyphoma told me that he could barely taste anything but salty- which is a severe lack of organically bound zinc, and the other elements used heavily in the neural network of senses. Pretty much a lack of a specific nutrient will cause effects across the whole body rather than in just one area/symptom, buuutt..
If it doesn't smell bad or taste bad to you, it may be a smallish biochemistry imbalance, or simply the brand of H2O2. It would probably be simplest for you to buy a 3% grocery store dilution, snifflewhiffle it, and then use it for household cleaning and/or bleaching jeans. ;)
