Its been 3 weeks since i started copper detoxing and so far i have found most of my anxiety and a racing thoughts to have reduced greatly, but i have noticed i seem to be having a increase of my hair going grey?
I must be 20% more grey now than before starting this detox, can anyone explain this?
I don't know for sure if i really have copper toxicity

This is a reply to # 2,152,064I only know very little from reading Dr. Wilson's site.
The short of it is that you need bio-available copper for your hair color. Copper detox will likely be pulling out all copper from your body, not just the unavailable oxidized form.
So maybe you could either take breaks, reduce the amount of zinc or add in more bio-available copper to your diet.
Usually people who are copper toxic have very bad reactions to high copper foods like nuts, beans or chocolate.

This is a reply to # 2,152,103Agreed - copper is needed for hair colour - it's recommended to try copper if premature greying is a problem.
Perhaps you are pulling too much copper from your system if you've noticed a drastic increase in grey hair in just a few weeks.
Ann Wigmore claimed that wheatgrass juice consumption turned her grey hair back to her natural youthful colour. I presume wheatgrass juice has quite a bit of copper content?- Re: copper detox grey hair? #155216

This is a reply to # 2,152,131Ahha! So SOD gene mutations would be contributable to premature ageing of skin/greying of hair.
Also if this gene enzyme is mutated it would lead to excess copper in the body as it's not being synthesised at full capacity by the mutated SOD enzyme.- Re: copper detox grey hair? #117601

This is a reply to # 2,152,423Interesting! I have the SOD gene mutation and my hair started to turn grey at 25. I am 37 now and I have to color it. I also have been detoxing copper out of my system since my Hair Mineral Analysis showed biounavailable copper in my body. I am about to order a SOD supplement and see if that helps me.
