I wanted to chart my progress as I complete a 21 to 24 day water fast. The last time I completed such a long fast was in 2011. I chose a target window for the fast as sometimes hunger can return after week 3.
I am 26, healthy although overweight and have calculated the gylcogen (water weight), fat loss, and muscle mass loss in the first 3 days along with subsequent days after (much more favorable after you enter ketosis).
I will be doing video blogs on Youtube daily that will be posted to my site (my username + dot com) along with updates on Twitter/Facebook under the same handle. I will also repost those updates here.
First VLOG will be up tomorrow after completing day one.
I also bought blood sugar testing kit, a blood pressure cuff, a body impedance scale, heart rate monitor, and urinalysis kits. I'd like to show at least anecdotal evidence on the power of a long term fast.
