Why are you fasting? To lose weight? To detox? Spiritual reasons?
Well, at age fourteen I would not worry too much about cleansing and fasting. Your body should be cleaning well. However, it is always good to eat nutrient dense foods and not any processed foods. If you want to lose weight and feel good mentally, eat raw plant based foods. Try to stay away from meats.
Parents do things for you or make you do things because they think that is best for you, they do it out of love, they also may not know how harmful somethings, foods etc, are. Most people are brainwashed by what they see around them, TV ads, displays in stores and attractive packaging, but all that makes someone some money and may not be good for our body.
As Luvair said, educate yourself so you can educate them. If you want to fast, do intermittent fasting and no one will know.
