Sharkman's advice seems sound and effective.
The only footnote comment I'd like to add is regarding doxycycline use IF an underlying latent stage Lyme infection is involved (wherein doxy has recently been shown to directly cause lyme spirocetes to protect themselves in latent stage lyme disease, including going into dormant cyst form).
In those situations, perhaps the Antibiotic
cocktail prescribed for latent lyme would work as a replacement for doxy (I would think so at least as those usually rotated/layered Antibiotic
mixes include three Antibiotic
formulations that attack lyme inside and outside the cell, with a third cyst-targeted antibiotic included. In aggregate, they are designed to attack lyme in all its forms.
Love to hear Sharkman's feedback on this as I don't want to throw out advice that negatively changes results.
