Hello all,

This is my 8th day of fasting. I am still going strong. Rashes keep appearing in different areas and disappear after hours, then return. The other symptom I am facing since yesterday is, I am getting acid reflux from time to time, upon drinking water like we drink tea, sipping one gulp at a time makes the reflux go away. I have had two BMs a day, which is all brown sludge, fowl smelling mucus. I am repulsed by all types of foods, except for someone’s lunch with strong garlic, made my mouth salivate.

Weight wise, I actually gained a pound today. So that has happened to me before, so no worries, also I drank lot more water yesterday. So now net weight loss is 11 lbs in 8 days. I expect this to continue. The hardest two days so far were day 2 and day 6, when I almost gave up.

My emotional healing process from the trauma continues, and makes me feel much better. My focus is incredible, I accomplished a lot at work and home yesterday.

I am taking one day at a time and see how far I can go.
