I am considering to start taking krill oil. I suffer from chronic GERD, low stomach acid, burping which I keep under control with Zinc Carnosine, but it can get easily triggered.
So I read that even Krill oil (not only Fish oil) can cause similar issues.
Can anyone recommend a brand that does not cause any stomach discomfort? How about enteric coated capsules?- Re: Burp-less krill oil? hanna

This is a reply to # 2,429,538I use Dr.Mercola's krill oil since a few months. My EPA and DHA tested low in the beginning of the year, in a few months I will do the test again and see if it helped. Since because of my age (84) I have low stomach acid and with every meal I use the Thorne brand Betaine HCL & Pepsin. My advice about the stomach acid comes from Dr.Jonathan Wright, I will see if I can find back an article about gerd, I know has written about it. Hanna

I read all the comments from people on Amazon and some people with big problems take up to 6 capsules per meal.

This is a reply to # 2,429,550Thank you very much for replying. For now I decided to try enteric coated fish oil of Omegavia as it technically opens in the intestines and there should not be any way to cause GERD. But I will keep your advice in mind. Best of luck to you.
