Potassium citrate is a potassium salt of citric acid with the molecular formula C6H5K3O7. It is a white, slightly hygroscopic crystalline powder. It is odorless with a saline taste. It contains 38.3% potassium by mass.
As a food additive, potassium citrate is used to regulate acidity and is known as E number E332. Medicinally, it may be used to control kidney stones derived from either uric acid or cystine.
One teaspoon of this potassium citrate on two different scales is 7gm (7,000mg).
one teaspoon is 7 grams and 38.3 % of that is 2.681 grams of potassium.
i would just start low and play with it. mix in water and sip. that kind of thing.
