Trainryche
Hi, this one tugged at my heart. I was on Zoloft for nearly five years, at one point I missed a day of meds and as you said it was disastrous. I determined that day that I need to be free of them (SSRI) if I could. I weaned off them and began to eat better (this was well before I had ever heard of MC).
If you have 5 left this will still work. First day break one pill in half and take half, next day same thing. Third day try 1/4 of the pill if you can, then try to do a second day each time you reduce the dose, do this until you are literally taking a slight shaving of the pill, cold turkey is VERY VERY dangerous for your emotional health and quite literally your life. Have some support around you (someone who knows your situation that you can trust) this could be rough and you need to stay as positive as possible.
Now for the rest of my story, I proceeded for roughly 9 months off the SSRI and was doing okay, not great, still a bit down but managable (though I didnt like having to work so hard to stay or get into a decent mood.
11 days ago I started
Master-Cleanse and "Thank God" I feel better than I ever have, much better than I did before the SSRI and even better than I did on them at the best of times.
You will get great input in here on the
Master-Cleanse so take it to heart and see it through you will definitely benefit. As for the meds BE CAREFUL, and FIGHT HARD to stay positive, it will pass but not overnight.
ANY OTHER QUESTIONS ON COMING OFF SSRI I will answer if I can, You CAN do this!!!!
