Most people believe that anxiety is actually repressed anger. You could try sitting down and just feeling what your anxiety has to teach you. You just might be surprised what intresting things come up when you just sit there and feel your anxiety. That is how my partner discovered that not only could he control his anxiety... but exactly what the anxiety was trying to show him was "wrong" in his life. He simply stopped running from it and faced it.
Never forget that you are in control.. all you gotta do is question the thoughts that led up to the attack.
