Hope you're doing fine and feeling good! This good weather should give us all a boost too, long may it continue . . .
Today I signed up for a course of approx. 15 acupuncture sessions, along with chinese herbal tea, in a bid to alleviate the candida and severe period pains each month.
I'm a bit worried though and would like to know what you all think.
I am getting more and more strapped for cash with the candida, having paid out thousands for supposed cures and treatments - some of which helped in the long term, but not forever.
I now realise that there is no one magic pill or potion that will return us to full health - we must sort out the imbalance/problems which caused the candida to arrive in the first place.
I've tried Acupuncture before, and it did help with energy levels, and friends remarked I looked a lot brighter afterwards.
The doctor I saw today said they work on the body as a whole, and sort out the liver, kidneys, stomach etc. He said he is confident he can cure it, but it won't be an overnight process and it will take a few months to sort everything out.
I've got seven big bags of dried herbs, tree bark and gawd knows what else to make into a tea, which I should drink every day.
After the first acupuncture session today, I felt tearful and a bit angry (although this may have been after they tried to persuade me pay £300+ for the course of treatments, but I remained firm and they agreed to let me pay £75 for three sessions at a time - gulp).
I've been taking 3lac and oxygen elements plus too.
Do you think it will be safe to do the acupuncture, teas and still take 3lac - or maybe just do one thing at a time?
I've heard chinese medicine can really help with the liver in particular, which I suspect is the main culprit in my case!
Thanks so much for your time and thoughts -
