I can see how it would seem that way to someone that doesn't know how to make yogurt. It's deadly simple, heat some milk, let it cool, stir in some (live) yogurt, put it in a jar, let it sit at 110 deg F. I have a cooler of water with an aquarium heater to keep the temp steady, I make 4 litres at a time and it takes less effort than my breakfast.
