Thanks for your response Stannarad! It really helps, in many ways, just to know that someone out there knows what I'm talking about. I am curious though 'cause you said you suffered with it for over 10 years, but were you on the candida protocol the whole time? How long did it take when going on the candida protocol to get rid of it?
After I posted my message last night I decided to hop over to the Liver Flush
Forum to just see what was new and I read some particularly interesting and helpful posts. One or more of them about stool color. One of them said that tan colored stool could be (is?) a sign of a liver/gallbladder blockage, which sort of made sense in my case because after the flush mine had been tan. The person who mentioned that also mentioned that there were many many posts about what stool color means so I'll have to do more research in that area later.
But the curious thing is, that a few hours after my post, my symptoms seemed to get better, less bloating by the time I went to sleep. Then today I continued on the protocol with what foods had been o.k. for me prior to the flush and they seemed o.k again and also my constipation has subsided and my stool is more brown and less tan now. It was almost as if my body heard me talking about it and shaped up. ;) But, I'm wondering if my body was just recovering from the flush and/or I did have a blockage and it somehow loosened itself? Or maybe all the stuff that been emptied into my bowels from the flush and had moved forward since the flush hadn't had time to completely come out until approx. 2 weeks later? I'm not sure. Anyway, I'll definitely keep flushing and stay on the protocol until I'm better, now that it seems the set back was only temporary. Maybe a case of sort of having to get worse before getting better? I'm not even sure if that can be applied in this case.
O.k. thanks again Stannarad.
