The problem with beans is that they are hard to digest.
I believe that, with the candida problem, any food that is high-carb high-fiber should be avoided.
When the absorption in the lower intestines is impaired, the unabsorbed carbs will be food for the bacterias and yeasts, the soluble fibers too. In an ideal digestion, these bacterias and yeasts don't have access to such amounts of carbs.
