I'm having really good luck with Epsom Salts
footbaths because of the magnesium content. Qwer also mentioned this. It's a cheap way to get mg into your body without going through the digestive tract and trying to absorb through the intestines. The very first night I had the most wonderful, fun dreams after having so many nightmares. Somehow it is just different than taking the pills or liquid. I take magnesium chloride liquid and this seems to work better for some symptoms than taking it by mouth.
I have one of those vibrating bubbling footbaths and I put in a good 1/2 cup of Epsom Salts
in water as hot as I can stand to put my feet into. I do it for 20-30 minutes. Since the Epsom Salt
is only on the feet and not the entire body, I let my feet dry off, put some socks on and leave the salts on all night and shower in the morning. I try to do it every other night, in addition to my regular doses of liquid mg. I've not had any reactions even though I'm very sensitive to minerals.
