Be it liver issue, colon issue or adrenal issue, fasting is a way to help your metabolism reestablish control. If you eat less, your liver does not need to digest as much and therefore it can keep busy cleaning the blood which in turn relieves all the other organs. Dirty blood coming to all the organs is very likely to make them less efficient, and then the snowball effect takes place.
The very exact relation to the adrenals I do not know. What I know is that when I fast is when I pass the more candida in my stool. It has always helped my body to better fight candida. During the first fast, I used to pass the white threads, later on, young candida , and now I only pass the specks (YEAH). I feel I am very close to recovery.
Fasting with lemonade: source water a dash of cayenne pepper and lemon juice is utterly helpful to the metabolism. Fasting is as important as liver + bowel cleansing.
I like to think of it in terms of a general clean up. When I wash my car, the floor or do the dishes... plenty of water is necessary and the smae applies to the body. This extra water simply helps the system get rid of toxins that overwhelms it.
Adrenals are the glands coping with stress. Toxins and their nasty effect: oxidation is very stressful to the body. Thus adrenal fatigue, fasting helps to cope with toxins and relieves the adrenals.
