Hi Lucindah! :)
Bowel cleansing must be done concurrently with everything else, as it is in the colon that yeast proliferate the most, and it is the old, undigested foods there that cause them to get out of balance. Enemas, colonics, fiber and herb shakes, mild laxatives, digestive enzymes, pungent herbs like ginger tea, garlic, onion, cumin, cayenne, should all be part of your protocol. See the Candida Notes for mroe guidelines on diet and such - most diets you read about are insane and they don't have to be. There's a lot you can eat on an anti-candida protocol, you jsut have to prepare it for the power of your digestion (read that post too).
While you cleanse your bowels, you should also be detoxing your liver with herbs, lecithin, Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar, and flushing once a month.
Also concurrently, cleanse the lymphs: detox bath once a week, dry brushing daily, and whatever else you can manage (see FAQ for more options.)
Fasting is not necessarily recommended for candida people. If you do want to fast, do a warm fast. That means ginger tea, peppermint tea, dandelion tea, potassium broth, Bieler Broth, and the Cleansing DRink (see FAQ) but with molasses instead of maple syrup.
