from what ive read, LarreaRX is the only patented herbal treatment proven to effectively fight herpes... something like a 97% success rating. ive tried EverCLR3, but the company seemed pretty sketchy and it didnt work. Larrea on the other hand is a well established company and theyve actually had a number of trials - their product has been in development for some 18 years i think. has anyone tried it? ive heard only good things.
heres the excerpt:
"Proven effective over 90% of the time in getting rid of herpes outbreak. Contains the extract of the Larrea plant, called Virastatin, now patented name "Larreastat". This extract is extremely effective in fighting viruses. The capsules offer invaluable immune support and have the ability to stop viruses from replicating in your body. Virastatin has undergone 18 years of research and development, including nearly eight years of informal consumer testing with more than 3,500 users. Open, multi-center studies of oral and topical Virastatin conducted in 1996 indicate an overall 97.8% success rate in healing genital herpes and shingles lesions in otherwise healthy patients. The products have also shown tremendous success in treating those individuals with complications of herpes virus and whose immune systems were compromised due to AIDS. No adverse effects were reported from those non-controlled clinical studies, company-sponsored and independent in vitro and in vivo animal studies, or consumer use reports. It is thought that avoiding sugar, alcohol and caffeine can help to minimize outbreaks as they have a supressing effect on the bodies own natural immune system. Proper rest and sleep are also invaluable in helping to boost the immune system. Stresses, be it emotional of environment should be avoided at all costs."
