When I was studying up on Cayenne that was the warning herbalists had due to it's very strong action on circulation. Over time it could actually have a weakening effect on the blood vessals. So after one month, take a break for about 2 weeks then resume. All supplements should be cycled somewhat, with off times as well as on times. :)

He should be taking in PLENTY of lecithin too! Men need twice as much linoleic and linolenic acids as women do, and this is why they get heart attacks and we don't.
And if he's not used to digesting those fats - which he probably isn't - make sure he follows all of the guidelines in the increasing digestive power notes and takes digestive enzymes.
