how important are the experation dates on herbs in capsule form? i bought something for a cleanse several years ago & didn't use it now it has expired. is it safe to use anyway? does the herbs loose their effectivness &/or grow weaker with age or do they become stronger & therefore become dangerous to use? should i just toss the bottle i have, except the loss & buy something new? thanks in advance for the info.
