amen to that andreas, My father had tooth work way back in the fifties and had a low infection in his lower teeth where i think he said they did a root canal when he was a kid. He all of a sudden got sick and it affected his brain ( we all though he had a mental disorder ) He refused to go see a doc and well he got worse and worse. Finally after changing his eating habits and calm persuasion my mom got him to the doctor who afterr evaluating him told him he needed to go see a dentist cuz it looked like he had an infection in his gums. Dentist confirmed it and puthim on antibiotics but that didnt help so they had to double the dose ( which the dentist did very unwilling but had no other choice). After the infection went down and it took awhile he started to recover his mental status back and started regaining weight back. The dentist told him he must of had that low infection for years since they did that and my dad said it had always bothered him but it didnt hurt so he learned to ignore it.
now all this started back in mid nineties so its been a slow recovery for him especially since hes doing it the medical doctor way. He will NOT look at alternative methods to help him along. ( mainly since he was big on vitamins all his life and he still went through this whole ordeal so hes kinda bitter).
But like i said he Eats a wholelot better than most people his fruits and veges an that sort of thing.
well the only reason i wrote this was after reading your post i immediately thought of my dad and he had that infection since he was 10-13 and hes now in his middle fifties. So i have to agree that you can have a low fever infection and it not bother you for many years to the point of it actually rearing its ugly head.
well have great holidays for you and yours
