How successful were your flushes? Did you see stones and chaff? If you did see any stones, then I say yes, wait awhile. 5 is a lot of flushes.
While you're waiting, continue to cleanse/tonify your liver by taking the proper herbs and vitamins. You can visit your local health food store and get a liver cleanse herbal formula - the good ones will have a combination of herbs, including Bupluerum, chinese gentien, dandelion, milk thistle, and others for digestion and assimilation. Also excellent are CoenzymeQ10, B vitamins and MSM (sulphur) as they help the liver to dissolve toxins.
www.sensiblehealth.com has excellent tinctures. Chinese Bitters has some of the herbs listed above, and gold coin grass will help to dissolve stones in the liver and gallbladder. Eating a green apple every day will aid in this too, or take Malic Acid, also at the health food store or available online.
The other reason possibly that your cholesterol did not go down, was that the bile released by the flush did not get taken entirely out of your system thru the colon. It's important to not just take the Epsom Salts
but to also do an enema on the day after the flush and take a P&B shake the day after and next day, altho most people dont' want to do this as they like to count the stones, which could get caught up in the fiber. The body recirculates used bile from the small intestine right back to the liver! unless fiber etc. is there to take it down to the colon. That's why people who eat a high-fiber diet have less cholesterol.
Additionally, you need to follow a liver-supportive diet and avoid foods that clog it up. The diet recommended by the regular doctors isn't really all that effective. For a better one, visit www.liverdoctor.com.
Hope that helps! :)
