Pain in breasts can be a sign of pregnancy or the coming of menstration. That was the first sign for me with both of my children.

Pain in the breasts can be caused by many things.A breast exam by a GYN should be your next move if the pain does not go away.Actually a breast exam should be done anyway for preventive purposes.I am newly married and experienced breast pain too. In my case I have huge nipples that are inverted and when they swell up or erect inside the inversion I get breast pain.My GYN using a suction pump got them out and examined them and they are okay.So now when I have breast pain I use a suction pump to pull them out for awhile and my breast pain goes away.
