i dont know if this applies to you...
edgar cayce was big on recommending something called detoxified iodine- atomidine. it is used when there's an incoordination of the glands... cayce called detoxified
Iodine 'the grease that oils the glands.'
there are 3 companies that i know of that make atomidine. 2 are big companies, baar products, and the heritage store. i do not recommend their products because they did not follow
Edgar Cayce 's directions when making it.
the only product i recommend is made by a guy named phil thomas, out of florida. he calls it rejuvadine. i can personally vouch for how much it can do, since i've taken it. to order, his phone number is listed on his web site - also there's a great history of the product. my personal opinion is that this product could help a lot of people.

you don't need to take a lot of this stuff to get an effect. cayce recommended different amounts for different people.
the detoxified
Iodine is also good for cuts and burns. to read a review of the different brands of atomidine/rejuvadine, read here - (even though in this case it was used externally, not internally). another added plus for the rejuvadine is that cayce said that the iodine, when taken internally, in small amounts can kill various viruses, etc.

in case you're wondering who the heck
Edgar Cayce was, here's a web site - he was called 'the sleeping prophet' in the beginning of this century, he advised many famous people on their health, including presidents. he did readings in trance. he devised tinctures, batteries that don't use electricity that rebuild the spine after spinal injuries (and this device does fix the 'permanent' damage that doctors say can't be fixed. he had fixes for many so called permanent illnesses. the case studies from his readings were followed up on so the progress of his 'patients' is known!
