You will certainly enjoy your pregnancy more if your liver is cleansed and your energy is high and the morning sickness toxins are not in your blood.
If you plan to get pregnant next year, you still have months to do liver cleansing. CLeansing every two weeks might get you a dozen or more cleanses completed before you even start trying. I think I remember reading that Andreas completed his entire liver cleansing in 12 cleanses, so it is not something that lasts forever.
By enhancing your liver function, the quality of the blood you will be passing to your fetus will be much better. Many toxins can pass through the placenta into the baby, especially small molecules like metals. Your liver can filter these out if it is able, and keep them from effecting your babies development.
It is an ideal scenario to do all this cleansing before conception, but the reality is, you are a living thing in a constant state of flux, and you will never be perfectly perfect. You can think you are perfectly ready, and be kidding yourself, unaware of some aspect of health which has not yet been discovered. "Ya gotta do whatcha got with.." is what my wife says. Allow yourself to be wrong, and laugh it up. Your baby has its own mechanisms to adapt to the world, even in the womb. And he is coming here to live in a perfect world of your making.
The soul who wishes to join you here in 3D is aware of every blessing and limitation you will offer him before he chooses you to help him start HIS life. The limitations on his potential that you give to him are part of the reason he chooses you. It is a life you are helping to bring forth, not just a baby. It is a fully powerful focus point of spirit, with a temporarily undeveloped body and mind. The spirit part is the important part, and whatever happens with the body and mind is incidental to this particular experience/lifetime, and whatever happens here is just fine for him.
Liver cleansing is very rewarding compared to colon cleansing, and a whole octave above with regard to the value of the results on your health. You can see the results and feel them. If you were like me, coming to this from a colon cleansing mentality, you may have some issues about perfection, and feeling 'good enough'. Colon cleansing has limited benefit on healing such emotions, but the liver cleanses have a very powerful effect on the feelings and they can resolve old stuck emotional patterns that are limiting you. The only way to feel it is to try it, and it is not a big deal. If you decide to stop cleansing, it is OK. There are no rules that can't be broken. You may start to feel rotten, and then you can choose to hit it again, or tolerate the discomfort for a while. Don't let the fact that you might have to stop prevent you from starting.
In my opinion, (as a man) Andreas' cleanse is not so invasive that it would be dangerous to do it when pregnant. All of the ingredients are safe in any dose, and actually healthy foods on their own. But this will be up to your own judgement and sense of adventure, of course. Doing it for the first time in month 8 would be stupid, but if you have done it 6 times and then get pregnant, you my feel that you are fine with carry on with it. If not, you start again in a year when the brat lets you have another 5 minutes to yourself.
Sorry for the rambling it is kinda late, good luck lbj
