Hello Everyone ,
My name is Alan . My wife is a nurse. I was taking kelation therapy for arsenic poison and it was during the summer when you need to drink extra because you sweat a lot of your water out through the skin. I got an infection in my kidneys. I called the doctor who was giving me the kelation treatments and told him about the infection. He called my pharmacy on the phone and told them the prescription for my infection. (CIPRO) When you are taking Kelation your kidneys are more stressed than normal and so it is necessary to drink plenty of water. I did not and so I got infected. I was surprised that my so called holistic Doctor prescribed an Antibiotic for this problem. I knew it was available in case things got worse. I had pain in my kidneys but i thought i could live with it till the next morning so this is what I tried.
I took one huge Garlic clove and crushed it in the press. Just before this I put 1/2 of a tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil in a tablespoon. Then I stirred the fresh crushed clove into the oil. This sort of seals the strong flavor so it is at least tolerable to quickly swallow. After I swallow it, I then wash it down with something else (whatever). The very next morning when I woke up I felt better. I continued to do this first in the morning and before I went to bed. I also drank 2 quarts on cranberry juice each day along with 2 quarts of water. Buy the 3rd day ALL the pain was out of my kidneys and had gone to my bladder. My wife told me that it was leaving my body. 3 days more and the pain was ALL GONE. Then I took a urine sample to my doctor and they checked it for me. They told me the infection was all gone and they put it in my records that I cured myself with herbs.
I try hard to avoid Antibiotics !

Thanks for the tip... I have been suffering with UTI for 3 years on and off. I think it arises when I have lettuce from somewhere other than home. I think its not washed when its served outside, which carries the E.coli into our bodies.
From there it then enters out bladder stream.
Till date I have not found cranberry juice a preventive method.
I dont think it depends on how much precaution you take. It really depends on what state of immunity your body has.
The E.Coli staysin your bladder for a long time. It might just be nominal enough to sustain itself without showing symptoms of a flared infection.
When your immunity is weak due to stress or a recent infection.. it gets you.
by then these herbal cures are too risky and urinary track infections are too painful to wait for a herbal cure.
thats the reason why most of us resort to anti-biotics..
Even Soon is not close enough when it comes to relief.
I do admire your attitude to avoid Antibiotics .. thanks for sharing your cure.
I'll try to adopt it on a daily basis.
