Definitely related to getting off the pills. :) Mucous membranes go wonky easily and the vagina is a path of elimination. Toxins and sudden hormonal changes upset the balance.
Drink lots more water than usual, especially the Cleansing Drink. Consider taking a detox bath (but without cayenne pepper and not as much ginger, maybe just the salts) and get a colonic/enema if you can.
Since you're coming off of hormones, it would be a great time for a bit of liver cleansing, just a couple bottles of herbs should do the trick. :)
You can do a poultice of a cloth soaked in milk, the lactic acid takes away a burning itch, or you can get a bottle of Blistex, the soft white kind of bottle with the more liquid Blistex, it is the most wonderfully soothing agent for the labia! really terrific, like mint candy. :)
If the issue persists, get some live acidophilus (yogurt starter) from the health food store. It should be in a gelatin capsule, use it as a suppository.
