until you get your organs cleaned out
and while you are still in menstrual pain
why not try dl-phenylalanine a natural amino acid with a morphine like affect to rid yourself of pain, it is much less harsh on your body then a pain killer.
here is info on how to take it from dr. earl mindells vitamin bible:
78. DL-Phenylalanine (DLPA)
This form of the essential amino acid phenylalanine is a mixture of equal parts of D (synthetic) and L (natural) phenylalanine. By producing and activating morphine-like hormones called endorphins, it intensifies and prolongs the body’s own natural pain-killing response to injury, accident, and disease.
Certain enzyme systems in the body continually destroy
endorphins, but DL-phenylalanine effectively inhibits these
enzymes, allowing the pain-killing endorphins to do their job.
Many people who do not respond to such conventional pain-killers as Empirin
and Valium do respond to DLPA.
People who suffer from chronic pain have lower levels of endorphin activity in their blood and cerebro-spinal fluid. Since DLPA can restore normal endorphin levels, it can thereby assist the body in reducing pain naturally—without the use of drugs.
Moreover, because DLPA is capable of selective pain- blocking, it can effectively alleviate chronic long-term discomfort while leaving the body’s natural defense mechanisms for short-term acute pain (burns, cuts, etc.) unhindered.
The effect of DLPA often equals or exceeds that of morphine
cinamide and other opiate derivatives, but DLPA differs from
prescription and over-the-counter medicines in that— it is nonaddictive;
pain relief becomes more effective over time (without de
velopment of tolerance);
it has strong antidepressant action;
it can provide continuous pain relief for up to a month
without additional medication;
it can be combined with any other medication or therapy to increase benefits without adverse interactions.
WHAT IT CAN DO FOR YOU:
Act as a natural pain-killer for conditions such as whiplash,
osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid Arthritis
, lower back pain, mi
graines, leg and muscle cramps, postoperative pain, and neu
DL-phenylalanine is generally available in 375 mg. tablets.
Correct dosages vary according to the individuals own experience of pain.
Six tablets per day (two tablets taken approximately 15 minutes before each meal) is the best way to begin a DLPA regimen Pain relief should occur within the first four days, though it may, in some cases, take as long as three to four weeks. (If no substantial relief is noticed in the first three weeks, double the initial dosage for an additional two to three weeks. if treatment is still not effective, discontinue the regimen. It’s been found that 5—15% of users do not respond to DLPA’s analgesic properties.)
CAUTION: DLPA is contraindicated during pregnancy and for people with phenylketonuria. Because it elevates blood pressure, people with heart conditions or hypertension should
check with a doctor before starting any DLPA regimen. Usually, though, it’s allowed if taken after meals.
PERSONAL ADVICE AND C0MMENTS:
On a DLPA regimen, pain usually diminishes within the first week. Dosages can then be reduced gradually until a minimum requirement is determined. Whatever yours turns out to be, doses should be regularly spaced throughout the day.
Some people require only one week of DLPA supplements a month; others need it on a continuous basis. (I found it interesting to discover that many people who do not respond to such conventional prescription pain-killers as Empirin and Valium do respond to DLPA.)
