I am wondering if I should be taking supplements to increase my nutrient intake that the parasites
may be taking away, however since they feed off our nutients wouldn't taking supplements be making the parasites
stronger as they would get more of the nutrients as well?
"Crazy" situation, eh? However, it's simple to sort it out once you understand these logical thoughts: [at least that's how I see it MOST of the time]
STEAL our nutrients.
- If we stop taking nutrients to starve the parasites, then as we starve the parasites, we must starve ourselves, since the source and the route of nutritional entry is the same for both the host and the parasite.
- If we starve and the parasites also starve, then the parasites, rather than "dying" will look for food wherever they can find it [OUR energy reserves, proteins and anything from us that can be used as 'fuel']. They'll even be willing to move around the body [migrate] in that pursuit. Our body does the same thing by starting to 'consume' muscles.
- The stronger we are, the better the body withstands an infection/infestation.
I know it's far from being a complete working proposition, but I hope that it helps you understand 'the process' at least a bit.
