I'm not familiar specifically with seborrheic dermatitis. But, the dermatis is for skin. The names are combinations of conditions and the part of the body involved but, they overcomplicate the human body and encourage people to go to the doctor. The skin is our protective layer. When it gets damaged a lot of problems start. Hydrating your body by drinking a lot of GOOD water gives your skin it's best chance to stay healthy and fight off microbes. When I had mold drying my skin out and cracking it, I used hydrogen peroxide on it to kill all microbes. wait a few minutes and rinse/dry. Then I would rub aloe vera staint from the leaf on it. You can buy big leaves of it at some grocery outlets, Cut off a 1" square and slice it doen middle of gell. This leaves you two squares with the skin attached to hang onto. Mold doesn't like aloe. Try Hp on a small area first to make sure you don't get a bad reation first. Since mold fungi are non-chlorophyll in nature, saturating your body with chlorophyll or chlorophyllin of 100mg, three times a day does wonders. It saturates the tissues and organs creating an unfriendly environment for molds. See Research at: http://oregonstate.edu/dept/ncs/newsarch/2001/Nov01/liver.htm
Below is a summary of how molds effect the human body
There are three underlying causations of mold fungi which start a domino of cause and effects which spiderweb into manifestations of health symptoms associated with the degenerative processes and degenerative diseases. Remember the job of mold fungi in nature is to decompose(compost piles), degenerate and break down all biological material to their basic elements, and recycle them back to Mother Nature, from whence they came. Dust to Dust.
The first causation is their dehydrating effects, first noticed on the hands, scalp and skin. They require three things to grow and survive; heat, moisture and biological material for food. They will suck the moisture and nutrients out of you for their own use and survival. Once the hands and skin(our protective layer) dry out and crack it provides entry points for various microbes to enter the skin, leading to many skin problems. They also are opportunistic and feed on scar tissue and other biological material which is damaged. Nature always attacks the weakest link, whether it is an animal or damaged tissue. Damaged tissue is bilogical material that makes their job easier. Anything fermented is mold. Alcohol is made by fermenting grains into beer and fruits into wine. The yeast mold is often used to accellerate the process. This is why alcohols dehydrate you and give you cotton mouth. The research on the effects directly equate to the effects of mold on the human body, even fetal alcohol and other birth defects.
The second causation is the mycotoxins they produce to kill off their microbial competitors. These mycotoxins damage the brain and central nervous system. Some of the same molds found in homes are concentrated and weaponized into the most powerful biological weapons on earth, the T-2 mycotoxins. Studying what they do to people within 2-4 hours of contact gives us a picture of what those same molds do to a person in there normal state over a longer period of time, especially in a home where the concentration levels are heightened. It effected my memory, concentration, comprehension, nerves, caused muscle spasms, jaw tremulations that got violent, anxiety attacks, extreme irritability and a lot more. If you interrupted me in the middle of a sentence I could not remember what we were talking about. This causation can contribute to many diseases. All but some jaw tremulation damage went away when I lowered the level of mold to a level the cleaning systems of my body could manage.
The third causation is the immune complexes. When antigens, such as mold fungi, enter the human body the immune system identifies them as invaders. It forms search and destroy patrol immune complexes by combining some of the mold fungi antigens and antibodies. Since the mold fungi antigens are so large, these immune complexes are large enough that they often get stuck in, and block, the smaller blood capillaries. The capillaries are noodle-like passages for the oxygenated blood to get from the arteries to the cells and tissues. Without that oxygen the cells and tissues degenerate and die. In come the opportunistic mold fungi to do their job. This interruption in the FLOW rate of blood contributes to many circulatory problems and problems in other systems. Since the blood keeps pumping blood pressure builds up behind these blockages. A lot of the smaller capillaries are around the joints, causing arthritic pain in those joints. There also are a lot of smaller capillaries in the brain. This leads to problems like headaches, migraines, brain shrinkage, memory problems, alzheimers, and any other problem where poor circulation is a factor. Once again, severe headaches, memory problems, restless leg syndrome, numbing body parts, severe arthritis, and symptoms too many to list ALL disappeared when I lowered the level of mold in my body to levels the cleaning systems could manage. First you have to bring them down to a qualitative/quantitatively matching strength with the bacteria, since they keep each other in check. Then you have to bring both of them down lower.
