oops! I meant to post this under the original post!
I think I have answered past posts of yours, but I am not sure. I hope this isn't repetative. I have horrible allergies and have done 10 flushes so far, with modest relief.
How often are you flushing? I discovered flushing too frequently made my allergies feel worse. I flush every 3-4 weeks. All those toxins just stimulate the immune system, and our immune systems are already over stimulated, so it causes our allergies to feel worse.
Also, IMHO allergies are not as simple as just a congested liver. Adrenal problems are a HUGE part of out of control allergies. I also feel, though have no data to back it up, that flushing is hard on the adrenals. Again, that is why I flush less frequently. Dr. Wilson's book Adrenal Fatigue was invaluable to me in learning about and treating my adrenal fatigue and helping my allergies. He even mentions liver cleansing.
Candida and leaky gut can cause
food allergies and it is difficult for the liver to deal with those food protiens, even if it were functioning optimally. If you suspect you have leaky gut, you must start to heal it before you will see a significant improvement.
I would also advise you to make sure you don't actually have a sinus infection. It can be difficult to tell the difference between allergie and an infection. Cleansing can sometimes stir up an dormant infection and might explain your worsening symptoms.
